I have recently bought a 2000 disco II and it is equipped with sls. I was wondering if anyone has put in a new suspension and replaced the sls? Interested in getting this thing dirty often and dont think stock is the way to go!

how difficult is it? any reccomendations?

bill,
you can easily modify the dII suspension by adding an extension to the sensor arms. i have the rovertym spacers for the airbags on the rear and ome shocks and springs front. although you have spacers on the rear, you still have to have the extensions so the rear sits level w/ the front. you can w/o spacers raise the rear w/ the extensions only but you'd be putting too much stress on the bags. i personally like the idea of keeping the sls for longer trips and fully loaded be nice and leveled... offroad wise bit on the soft side but it tucks and drops pretty nice. so far no problems.
