OK, so rovertym doesn't make a DS II version, I don't care for the looks of the ARB, SG's looks great but is $$$, and trail ready makes nice stuff but only for jeeps!!! Any other options?? Anyone out there making quality, good looking bumpers? I think I remember the guy from Disco2.com was going to make them but that was a while ago. Thanks for any info.

Try TReK Outfitters and speak/email Matt Sokolowski. I met him at the RoverFest in Killington VT and when I had a problem with my ARB (check out the previous posts) he suggested I try his and was willing to give me a great deal on one of his bumpers. Although it does not come in an airbag version for my DII, the DII that he had on display was tricked up with all sorts of goodies. Give him a yell...

If your LR dlr sees your Disco with an aftermarket bumper they are required to inform LRNA that you have modified the SRS system. They informed me they did this yesterday. I know that the ARB site says they've tested their bumper with SRS and it works to manufacturer specs (didn't know you could get specs on such a thing)

This is obviously consideration for their liability, and I would be doing the same thing- if I were in their position. I still think I'd rather have the ARB up there than that plastic and styrofoam one they supply.

I'll post any response from LRNA.

i took off the stock bumper off my 99 d1 yesterday - that thing wouldn't stop an angry cat! arb is definately on the to order asap list!
