Geologist. Actual 'role' title is "Minerals Specialist I".
I work for the State, actually, the Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Mines, Minerals, and Energy (DMME). In the Division of Mined Land Reclamation (DMLR), in the Technical Services section.
We review applications for coal-mining permits, investigate citizens' complaints related to mining, restore abandoned mine sites, and assist public education programs.
Lots of fun.... glad I like my work.

Mechanical Design Engineer for Peavey Electronics
I basically design everything you see, not hear (well sort of, but that gets complicated) for Peavey guitar and bass amps. I do mixers and PA systems too, but only because I have to.

Wisker!
I've got a Peavey amp that needs some help!
It's a Triumph 60; the footswitch to change between the two 'hot' channels will change the light on the pedal, but the amp will only stay on one of the channels, and not actually switch to the other.
Ideas??

It seems like there's some kind of research project going on on DiscoWeb.
First,
"How old are you?"
then
"What color is your Disco?"
now,
What do you do?
O.K. I'll play...
I'm 27 y/o (I didn't answer this one before)
My truck is Willow Green (answered this one)
I'm a Radiology Clinic Supervisor for a hospital in Chicago.
Wait, this is beginning to sound like a personal ad. I'll quit writing now, and if anyone asks my hair and eye color, I'm outa here for good.

Wow, an impressive group. I especially like the Police Officer with a sense of humor and since I have friends in London, Ohio, we may run into one another. (watch for a blue disco II) I am also impressed with the Peavey guy. My son loves his amp and I've always been impressed by their designs.
I own a small advertising and event production/promotion company in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mike W., I saw the commercial tonight for the new Michael Douglass flick. I swore I'd remember the name so I could post it here. I think it's called, "Don't Say A Word", and it has a QUICK cut of the Disco in the trailer. I'm sure my awareness is heightened as a new Disco owner, but geez, it seems lke they are everywhere these days. I fear the trendy....it cheapens the effect for me.

I'm a student at GT & UNC-Charlotte (Electrical Engineering Major) and I was an intern in the Engineering Dept. as well as CAD Operator for a Telecommunications Engineering Firm, though I was just laid off 2 weeks ago, and the manner it was done was VERY shady...I'm still pissed about that..
I also do some Website & Graphic Design on the side to help pay off my Rover expenses.
I have experience in advanced mechanical cad design w/ AutoCad and Cable design w/ Microstation. I guess you could say I'm a CAD dork....a really big one..
