I am not new to the Discovery. I had a 96 SE7 and I sold it just before the warranty ran out for fear of an emptying bank account! The truck was fantastic when all was well, but it seemed to need alot of repairs at a very young age. That coupled with a dealer who always had at least a 3 week backlog did not make for a pleasant ownership experience. The thing is, I really love the Discovery when it is o.k. and I would like to try out a Discovery Series II now. I would like to know about your experiences with the series II and if they have been more reliable than my 96. Thanks in advance.
