For the roof-rack size tube - about 1 inch diameter. To connect two tubes at right angles.
TIA,
Dean

Are you looking for a "clamp" as in a temporary hold...of a tubing corner? Not sure what your making, but electrical conduits corners "Homedepot" are about that size. ...or a plumbing elbow.

Sorry, I meant to hold two bars crossing each other. I want to clamp my magnetic CB antenna onto the roof rack to give it more umph going through brush.
Dean
(Take one bar, lay it horizontally on floor. Take another one, lay it also flat on top and perendicular to the first. That's the orientation.)

dean,
Its called a welder

LOL - I know. But actually that may not be a bad idea. I am supposedly taking welding classes this fall.
I still need to make / buy a clamp - I am not welding my antenna to the rack!

I'm with Ron!
...so you want to clamp you magnetic antena to the intersection of two bars on your rack OR two seperate bars??
If the first, a C clamp might work, but one good wack would send the whole unit crashing on your roof...if the second, I have know idea what your planing.
Dean, if your thinking short term, IE: tomorrow's run. All are trucks will be close together, I bet you could wire tie the antenna flat on your rack and it will still work. It just wouldn't work well "long range".
..and in the fall you can MIG up a nice spare tire mount. Your gonna love welding!

Carl,
I had a cheap welder in England, but every freakin time I tried to weld anything the wire would instantly stick to the object and not let go. Even after cursing!
Ok this is the clamp I want: a single piece of roof rack tubing (horizontal) to hold a single piece of antenna housing (same size tubing) vertically.

if not, check the shops at the truckstops.... like iowa 80. they have all kinds of things for your CB antenna needs.

Ho,
Thanks - that would work if I pulled the whip off the magnet. But what I like about the magnet is that it has a springy base that flexes. If I put the whip on the clamp like this at the top of the rack, it would be gone / bent pretty soon.
The type I am after is like the scaffolding 90 degree middle-join, only with 1" bars.

Springy you say??
