I own a 2000 DiscoII and i have been wanting to upgrade the front springs. I want a stiffer ride(the stock springs are too sloppy!) and better off-road handling. I don't want to lift my truck and I don't have a winch. A friend of mine told me about Land Rover's winch springs and I want some opinions. Thanks a lot!!!!

those winch springs are probably the HD version from LR.
those will probably give you some lift.
in obtaining this "stiffer" ride you talk about, you should really look into different shock absorbers.
those will affect your ride better than just swapping to some stiffer springs.

Nathen,
Have you considered Old Man Emu shocks?
They are engineered to compliment the OME springs...which add 1.5" lift.
I was really pleased how they improved the on-road "feel" of my DSII when I ran their kit with 255/70/16 BFG AT/kos. Dare I say BMW-like?
One of many sources for OME -- www.roveraccessories.com

If want to avoid lifting, go with Bilsteins
