My '97 is having serious problems getting more fuel when it need it. Air flow is OK but when I floor the pedal, it hesitates for a second then takes off. Sometimes it even seems to release pressur back through the air filter in a form of a mild backfire.. but no fire. We know the fuel pump and other parts are ok and have narrowed this down to being some kind of sensor that must be regulating the amount of fuel it gets when I accelerate. Any Suggestions??
