hey guys-

i'm going to do it - i want to hood mount my spare on my disco. does anyone know of the part# for the d90/wolfe bonnet mounted spare kit?

i hope to put together a kit. also was thinking of using the mount from the tail gate, plus some hard rubber (hockey pucks?) 'corner' bumps.

Why not use a series one? Cheaper and galvanized.

That's an awful lot of weight to put on a surface thats more then twice as big as a Defender bonnet. That poor aluminium is gonna be stressed, big time. A stock Disco alloy and stock tire weigh around 50 lbs...

The hood is a better place then the bonnet
