Another reason for the rear guard: I got half way down a knarly trail couldnt go any further with my current setup, no sliders etc. and had to back all the way out of that mother. I had to pile rocks to get over some big boulder obsticles and wished I had the rear guard. I'm calling $G for the d-90 special. Mike
