1997 Disco w/ all factory sterio, and speakers...

All my right (passenger) side speakers quit working. I pulled off the kick panel, disconnected a plug (only 2 wires) and the tweater and back started to work, the door speaker did not. I pluged it back in, and the door speaker comes on, so they all work. It happened again, I did the same, and got the same results.

They did it yet again, so I did the same, but this time when I pluged it back in, they all (right only) turn off again, so I gotta leave it unpluged to get any sound at all, but with it unplugged, the door speaker doesn't work.

Do I need to just replace the door speaker, or is the problem somewhere else?

swap it with the left side and see if its the speaker.
