What is a good lug wrench replacement?
Breaker bar with a 1-1/16 socket?
Gorila bar and socket?
Some other lug wrench?
Just wondering if everybody lives with a bent wrench or does something about it.

I use a lug wrench that has four sockets on it. One, the largest fits the lugs on a disco. Looked for one for a while but ended up getting it from a friend who had an extra, good luck!

Go to Walmart. They have it and it works great. If you need more info, just email me.

I too have the Walmart Special lug 4-way lug wrench for trucks. It works great. However, I also purchased a 18" breaker bar and 1 1/16" socket from Craftsman and it fits nicely in the tool bag that fits under the seat. The 4-way lug wrench was too awkward to carry around all of the time.
Thanks,
Mike

Walmart also carries a 4-way that folds-up nicely to save space. Butof course, it could use a little more length for leverage.

breaker bar with 1-1/16 socket for impact wrench.
carry the impact wrench socket with you all the time as most tire stores don't have the correct size sockets.

A big advantage to using the 4 way bar from your local auto parts store (especially if you switch rims frequently yourself), is that it is fast! You just break it loose, hold the bar straight, and spin those babies off in about 5 seconds each.

I travel with the longest Sears bar and 27mm socket for undoing, the OEM wrench for tightening in the field and use a torque wrench to check ft/lbs at home

Slightly off-topic: Anyone else have to hammer their stock lug wrench on the nuts? The sheet metal covers are cute and all but a major pain in the butt. Solutions other than beating the hell out of your lug wrench? The lug nuts were the only things left on my truck that weren't scratched.
Oh well.

Solution:
Trade/buy for the earlier style ones w/o the covers
