I have seen one in use and they are very handy lifting rigs off of objects and away from embankments. Depending on your vehicle lift the one you show may not be tall enough and they inflate slow with the smaller exhaust output on a gas engine.
Be prepared for a soot mess when disconnecting also.

I've got one of the jacks from new concept. If you are in just the right situation they are very cool.
Most of the time a high lift and pad is faster, easier, more efficient and a whoel lot cheaper.
If you get one buy a big one. Less than 2 feet in diameter and they are not very stable. They also give considerably, so the actual height in use is much less than the rated height. I have the same one used for a couple years on camel trophy and it is not enough to lift my wheel off the ground from anyplace but under the axle.
You need to be very carefull about sharp bits on the underside of your truck which will slice it open. If you have a tiny leak in your exhaust they won't work. If you have a rusty weak spot they weill cause it to break through.
