I have '95 disco and it just started dying at an idle(stop sign or something). It starts fine and runs fine over 1000 RPM but under it won't hold an idle unless I release the pressure in fuel tank using the fuel cap. After that it will run fine. I am starting with the fuel ventilation but I am not familiar with it. Is there a good starting point and remedy other that ventilation?? Thanks alot

Lot of questions: lambda sensor and O2 sensor the same? Does code 44 mean I need a new sensor? Any cheap place to find one?

Yes, for a 95 disco it is about time to replace the O2 sensors. I bought a pair very inexpensively from Nathan Crabtree.

You can reach Nathan at:
boatbuggy@aol.com
If you can change a spark pulg you can change a O2 sensor.
