everytime I turn the car off, everything cuts out. No keyless entry, no clock (have to reset it everytime) and no radio (the "CODE" screen appears as a result of the problem connection). There is a bit of related history with the letricals in that it began with an audible pop in the speakers (when the radio was turned on) evrytime I hit the turn signals. It slowly escalated to a discernible "whine" in the speaker, which only got stronger with accleration. I posted this problem earlier, but the response was that it was due to some bad wiring. Now everytime the car is turned off, when I go to turn it on there is no electricity. It takes me a few turns of the key before the whole car "fires up" again. I was wondering where is the best place to begin?

Sounds like a grounding problem.

Ill try this one more time now that I read there is new people posting...

the inside light should go on when you enter the truck... now I've heard that sometimes it will blink 4 times and that is an indication that one of the fuses just went wrong... now... in my case the damn light blinks 6 times.. and it is not ONE fuse and a Half that went bad...(for those silly asses up there... hehehe) do you have any idea?

no fuse is bad.

thanks!
Simon

Sounds like you have the same grounding problem that I did. Check the ground cable from the battery to the fender to the block. Make sure that all are clean and tight.
