I have a 97 disco in which it says V8I on the rear door. What does the (I) stand for? I cannot find in in any manuals and people always ask me what it stands for?. Any suggestions?

That's just like I have the San Diego Edition (SD on back) when people ask.

I thought it stands for Indestructible... :)

So the ones without the 'i' are not injected?

No i just means they did not feel like putting one on.

Its a LR thing, some had it some did not and the production dates with and without are funky (ie they started out with an i then dropped it, then brought it back, then dropped it again)
