Hey guys, and newbie gals,
I went to death valley with the SCLR club this weekend and the trip was great but on the way there my A/C went out. the temp was 114, challenging to say the least. My service engine light came on about the same time. Could they be related? I have 105000 miles so I figured the light had something to do with that. I pulled the little thing under the seat and that turned the light off but... Also I thought the A/C problem was a bad switch since the cut off thing and wiggle the switch thing. So I replaced that (medium $140 nightmare) and still nothing, (huge nightmare). So I need some help anyone ever experience anything like this? Thanks, Mike J.

More info..
There seems to be no power to the a/c button or the recirc button. could it be a relay? I have checked all the fuses several times. :(

Might you need a re-charge ?

If the gas pressure in the system goes down below the low pressure cut-off switch set point, the whole system will appear dead.

BTW, it's not unknown for corrosion to eat pinhole leaks in the aluminium high pressure lines and trash your whole system (ask how I know :))

I don't think I need a re-charge, the A/C seemed to be fine , (consistently cold) and I don't think I sprung any leaks. What about the blower relay? anyone ever have to replace this? Thanks Mike
