I brought my 96 Disco into my local LR Center yesterday and had the rust spots looked at by a LRNA rep. The rust is in the usual spots (wheel arch where it meets the rear door pillers and the door frame at the bottom of wheel arch under the black plastic sill). After reading some of the other threads on this board I expected to get some resistance but I was suprised when the rep and the dealer agreed to repair the rust spots. I was even more suprised when they said I could leave the truck and they would send it out for repairs right away.

My Disco is a 96 and has 57,000 miles on it and I have had it maintained at the LR Center where I bought it in 98, so this could be the reason why they agreed to fix the rust.

I hope things work out for those of you have encountered problems getting your fixed.

I'm not certain but I think they have a lifetime corrosion warranty.
