When I make a right turn, there's this really high pitched squeak that I can't locate. It only happens when I turn though. Any ideas!

make three lefts and you're there

ok, sorry, is it steering wheel or underneath the body squeak? bushings? dented (rubbing) stabilizer shock boot?

I've got the same thing with my 97 Disco.
Whenever I turn right and my truck leans to the right, I hear a 'squeal'.

I'd be interested in finding out what this is.

(And as far as doing 3 lefts - I just came back from NJ - and you CAN'T make lefts there... it's nuts..)

Its outside and sounds like its underneath the body. It seems to be getting worse - its a really high pitched consistent whine, as if its a start to a metal-metal grind. I've checked the brake pads, but no dice. It doesn't sound like its from the suspension. Could the wheel bearings need to be repacked?

also check that stabilizer - I've seen them bend and rub, thereby squeaking when you turn one way and not the other. I saw (and heard) this on my Disco :)
