Anyone got any experience with the sub that is in the rear door of the Disco 1?
I know it's powered by it's own amp, which uses two really strange cables to get both power and input.
Looking at the way the LR head unit wires up, it should be possible to fit two pre-out cables to my Sony MDX-7900, and strip them down to the amp for the Sub. Hey presto - MD head unit is driving the sub too.
Any help appreciated.

yep, the installer of my head unit used line level converters to feed the amps. i am planning on getting a MP3 player in the disco next week or so. i'm gonna install it my self since they already ran did the converters.
will keep you posted.

Don't cut your line-out or strip them down, invest in a decent L.O.C like Rockford Fosgate, in a 4 channel configuration. should be about 50 bones.
