Will this acheive more lift to install 1 y/o rear OME HD rear springs to front and puttin new HD in rear?

Mick,
I would advise against putting 762's up front.
The 762 is a 320 lbs. spring. That's extremely heavy. Amount of lift in the front would be huge and ride would be extremely stiff. As a comparison, note that the 751 HD front springs are only 230 lbs. rate. The 761 MD front springs are 200 lbs.
While all springs sag with age (although the OME springs seem to resist sagging better than other springs available for the Land Rover), you're still going to get a tremendous amount of front lift with the 762's on the front.
Many people who want lots of lift put 764 MD springs up front. These are 220 lbs. rate and about 2" taller than the 751 springs. As expected, lift is considerably higher than with 751 springs, with the attendant driveline vibrations and loss of caster and general handling on the highway. Remember also that you will have to fit tall spacers and/or taller springs in the rear to compensate for the extra height up front. Standard 762's in the rear won't cut it.

764's in the front are the bomb. 3"+ lift and still a good ride. Nice drop flex with the longer springs, too. I think that spring rate is almost perfect for intermediate+ wheeling.
762's would be a diff story - ouch...

Oh, yeah - I forgot.....
Forget what I said about 764's unless you can get an OLD set of 764's. The new ones are waaaaay diff (1" shorter)...
We've all had this discussion several times already...
Wait for RT's new springs. Rumor is that John is coming out with some nice tall & flexy 3" lift springs tailored to captivated spring trucks.
