Does anyone have any experience with these tires? I am in need of new shoes and was wondering if they were any good. Also, does everyone think that 245-75 16's would fit with 2" OME lift without too much rubbing? Thanks for the advice.

Shouldn't be much rubbing, maybe a little, but thats fully stuffed. Look at my photo album, and you'll see what it looks like with OME 2" and 245.75.16's. I don't have experience with those tires, sorry. My next set will be Goodyear MT/R's.

They don't have their new MT up on the site either. Think BFG laid off their web folks.

Is this a new tire? Its not in their catalog(as of summer 2001). What is the tread like?

They must be new. I saw them at a new Wal-Mart Supercenter in Missoula, Montana. They look a little less aggressive than the MT's. I will try to get back and take some pictures of the actual tread. It is interesting that they weren't featured on the web site. Anyone else seen them?

I have just bought a set of the New Trac/Edge replacements. Only seem to be in 225/75 at the moment. The chap I bought them from say's they don't clear mud quite as well as the Trac/Edge, but the'yre getting excellent reports from customers that have had them fitted already.

Got them for £79.00 each

The Commercial T/A Traction is a new tire, BFG still makes the Trac Edge but it is softer rubber and geared for winter driving. The traction's rubber is a little harder with bigger center tread blocks and a lot more sipping across the whole tire. This should be a better off road tire with better performance and wear on the highway. I just bought 5 LT-245-75-16's and I'm anxious to put them to work.

I went to my local Wal Mart and saw the BFGoodrich Land Terrains. They didn't look that aggressive. They are more along the lines of the old Trail model BFG makes. It looks like a all-season tire.
