I've gotta 'stop' asking these brake questions! ha

Yesterday I was showing my frind just what this Rover thing is about on some pretty good trails in North Austin. I am going down this very long steep ruged hill so I am in low 1st and on the brakes most of the way down. I got to the bottom parked and applied my park brake to walk out the next few feet before I drive it.

When I got back in was the 1st time I noticed that the "Brake" light in the instrument cluster was flickering on and off for a few minutes after I started moving again. Happened only for a few minutes, and never since then.

Was it something to do with my park brake malfunctioning? I didn't notice any odd behavior.

Was it because my brakes were real hot from the decent down the hill, and maybe I just didn't notice the light before? My brakes worked fine the whole time and afterwards as well.

Or something else more sinister?

Possibly low fluid level - check the MC. If you were on a steep descent, then the fluid all runs forward in the MC, and trips the low fluid warning sensor

Might be other reasons also, but this pops to mind
