My check engine light came on and the fault code said that there is something wrong with my left Lambda sensor. Does anyone know what this sensor does and where is located?

The Lambda sensors are what is more commonly referred to as the Oxygen or O2 sensors. Follow your manifolds to your y-pipes, you should see two on each side. (The little thingys screwed into the exhaust pipe that has wires coming out of them)

Grady,
What does your odometer read? If it's under 80K, You may get them replaced for free. Look under news.
