Abs noise | 2 | 02/26 10:28am |

Hey guys I got a problem with my ABS(98 Disco I). Sometimes my ABS kicks in on dry pavement thus not allowing for very effecient stops (also very scary approaching the exit ramp too fast!)I also get the ABS light occasionally. Could a loose ABS wheel sensor cause this? If so what do they look like and where are they? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Great board layout too.
Thanks
SteveH

I had the same thing. It turned out to be a bad ABS sensor. A loose sensor would probably cause the scenario, too. Look behind your whhels, you should be able to follow the wires running to the sensors.

I had the same thing happening on my 95 disco, turned out to be a sensor that was out of adjustment.
