I am looking to replace the current rear light I have. The current one is about 4 inches in diameter plus sits on a 2 inch bracket and extends above my roof rack, making access a pain.
Does anyone know of a good rear light, with a hinged bracket that is only a couple of inches high?

John,
Hella makes dual reflector models that are rectangular and have a tilt swivel mount. You can mount this on the back of an Adventure rack and have it sit below the top tube. 55W times two bulbs is a lot of light too.

I use the Hella Halogen work lamp on my LR Adventure roof rack. It mounts directly to the bracket on the back of the rack. It's square and works nicely. Lots of light and can easily be turned to most any angle. I fold it down when I pull the Disco in the garage (or if I forget, my garage door folds it down for me!) $54.95 from Atlantic British (PN: 9661).
Thanks,
Mike B.
