Hi all,

I have a question about gaping spark plugs. I picked up some ngk v power plugs and noticed that on the box it recommends you gap the plug according to the your specific vehicle recommendations. Well, the owners manual recommends .033 - .038. It appears that the plugs are at .032. My question is, should I leave the gap as it is or change it? If I change it, do you just bed it or is there a special tool? And finally, what would you recommed using to measure the gap to such a precise measurement?
Any input will be immensely helpful!

Thanks,
Chris

Gap gauging tool is only a couple bucks at any autoparts store - a little disc that can fit on a key ring - nothing to it. Just slide it between the points and turn to achieve whatever gap you want - tool is marked. There are many others also - feeler gauges, etc - but go with the cheap and easy.
