Brought my D2 in for coolent leak, and it seems they fixed it (just got it back). How, can someone translate what's on my recipt?
"THE CUSTOMER STATES THAT THERE IS A COOLANT LEAK. I PRESURE TESTED THE COOLING SYSTEM AND AT 12 PSI I FOUND THAT THE BACK SIDE OF THE INTAKE GASKET WAS LEAKING. I REMOVED AND INSTAL LED A NEW INTAKE GASKET AND 1 VALVE COVER GASKET. THE VEHICLE HAS SECONDARY AIR INJECTION I ALSO FOUND WHEN THE PLENUM WAS OFF THAT THE DEICER WAS SEAPING, REMOVED AND INSTALLED A NEW DEICER UNIT WITH GASKETS AND SCREW. I FILLED THE COOLING SYSTEM AND REPRESURE TESTED TO FINR IT HOLDS 15PIS FOR ABOUT 2.0 HR"
I can understand most of it, but still unclear about the secondary air injection part and the stuff after that.

Also, they somehow changed the a/c temp. into degree C instead of degree F. Anyone know how to change it back?

Hi- Your vehicle (and mine) has "secondary air injection". A fancy term for an air pump, pumping air into the heads at start up, for cleaner emissions. For the c instead of f, read your owners manual.-

I PRESURE TESTED THE COOLING SYSTEM AND AT 12 PSI I FOUND THAT THE BACK SIDE OF THE INTAKE GASKET WAS LEAKING. Then I drove his Disco to my girlfriend's house for a little nooner action. I REMOVED AND INSTAL LED A NEW INTAKE GASKET AND 1 VALVE COVER GASKET. that I pulled off an old Pinto in my girlfriend's backyard. THE VEHICLE HAS SECONDARY AIR INJECTION I ALSO FOUND WHEN THE PLENUM WAS OFF (I removed the plenum to rig it up to break next month so I can cruise in his sweet ride again soon) THAT THE DEICER WAS SEAPING, REMOVED AND INSTALLED A NEW DEICER UNIT WITH GASKETS AND SCREW. At least that's what we'll tell this guy. I FILLED THE COOLING SYSTEM with some Dr. Pepper that had gone flat AND REPRESURE TESTED TO FINR IT HOLDS 15PIS FOR ABOUT 2.0 HR" This should keep his Disco running until he's out of warranty, then we'll really stick it to him, as he seems to have a lot of money.
