I've recently replaced my stock halogen bulbs with some Xenon gas charged ultra white bulbs, which have a slightly blue tint to them (emulates the look of HID lighting systems.) These really came out GREAT, and i love they way they look on my disco. I usually drive with my "fog lamps" on, because the four lights up front looks really cool, but now the blue really clashes with the stock white of the lower fog lamps. As far as i can tell, the fog lamps are sealed beam, arent they? Any way to replace these with the newer style that have replaceable bulbs inside? anyone been down this road yet?

And if anyone is looking for that HID look at a VERY reasonable price, check out www.kyotousa.com, and look for the H4 bulb for the Disco. The lights are EXCELLENT quallity, and the slightly blue tint makes for much cleaner, crisper vision at night

You can replace the lights in the fog lights. They are sealed beams but they do come apart and you can change the H-3 bulb and reseal them. I did mine and have posted some additional info for a few. If you do a search on fog lights you should be able to find them.
