I'm looking for a better seat that provides a bit more overall support on those trips. Has anyone installed any?

Get an Isuzu Rodeo, take a few long trips in it, then go back to the Disco. Your seats will be a LOT better then.

I don't think the seats are the problem. It's the driving position. Not enough leg room & leg need to be on a angle.

Unfortunately, I don't have a Disco so my "older" seats weren't build with ergonomics in mind! My seat pan is very wide with no support and the back part is totally straight and wide with no lumbard or back support. Back in '91 everything was very simple in the Rangies!
