I dont know anything about difference in sizes, but according to ARB, the d1 ARB bar is differnt than the d2 bar
suposably they look different and come out further, ect ect

I saw a d2 Bar and realy liked it, would it fit my d1?

the arb srs ok bar is the same appearance as the d2 bars

Check the width of both vehicles. I think the 2 is about 4" wider than the 1.

i have compared an ARB bumepr from disco1 to a stock disco2 bumper. the mounting brackets are at same distance apart. but i dont' knwo if the bolt holes align. also, the disco 2 bumper will be wider than the disco1.

but joshua, why you wanna do that? you just like the looks of the disco2 ARB version better? even if it works, the blade will be too wide and it'll probably look hideous.

Ho, I have only seen , up close in person the arb for a disco 2 since I have decided to go this route. The pics avalible online, and it the photogallery dont help much with the difference in design (what it looks like on the vehicle)

ARB was no help, and the web site only has a disco 2

So, I thought if everything was the same, except the "look" of it, I would just get a bar made for the series 2.

I guess ill order the series 1 bar, and try aand track down a rig around here that i can look at.

of course, I dont want it to stick out Ho, that , i agree woudl be gross.
