Sorry to bother you guys with this topic, but I couldn't find my answer when I did a search.
I am looking to upgrade my suspension in my '96 Disco and I was thinking about Heavy Duty OME Springs and Bielstein Shocks. Is this a bad combination? Should I stick with OME all the way?
I am looking around the internet to find the best prices, but so far they are all around $600 for the complete OME package. Is this the best price around?
My truck is stock and I am slowly building it up. Eventually it will have a Bull Bar & Winch (maybe even a roof rack). The truck will be mostly used for off-roading, but some decent cornering in the city streets would be nice. The anti-sway bars will be removed, so I don't know how bad the cornering will be with the HD suspension and no sway bars.
Thanks for the help.

$475(for OME springs and OME Nitrocharger shocks) from Nathan at [email protected]. I don't know about the Bilstein shocks, I am considering OME shocks for my Disco1. I heard that the Bilsteins can break.

call john @ www.expeditionexchange.com he'll help you answer your questions.
most guys go w/ ome springs and shocks for a reason. some have front bilstein shocks w/ the rest ome... just have to try. one thing for sure, can't really go wrong w/ the ome all the way. it's a good recipe to start with. no sway bars... ome all around no prob should be pretty controlled handling(though not as good as w/o the sway bars).
