Can some one with a OEM brush guard on a seriesI,
tell me if it fits directly on to the bumper bolts, or is there an extender bracket used? This is a used bar so I don't know if it should have them or not. There does not seem to be enough room to get it up as far as I need to so I can align the holes(and as far back.)If one of you can take a look under there I would be Grateful!
My bumper is stock.
Thanks!
Mike

Back out the stock bumper bolts (bumper will stay put), slip the brush bar's mounting brackets over the bumper frame mounts, and re-insert the bolts. That's all there is to it. The bolts are long enough (by far) to accomodate the new brush bar's mounting brackets. I've done it myself plenty of times by laying under the front end with the brush bar balanced on my stomach/crotch (fold up a towel and lay it across your lap to protect the jewels). Muscle the bar into place and use your knee on the lower tube to hold it whilst you slip in the bolts. It helps if you swear a lot during the process.

I have some digital pix, if I only knew how to upload them to attach to this message...can anyone help me out on this?
