The plastic "T" handle on my hood (bonnet) release cable broke. Just a little nub of the base still attached to the cable. Anyone know if the handle can be replaced or am I committed to replacing the whole cable. Thanks.

i replaced the handle and cable on mine, since the reason it broke was because the cable was binding. now i spray a little silicone near the handle and locking mechanism at the hood every once in a while. i would just replace the whole deal just in case the cable is bad. pretty cheap.....got a non-LR version for under $20.

You can get an OEM cable from Rover Conection for $13.00 - takes about 45 minutes or so to install. Mine bound up inside the - maybe from water or mud ??
