As i rolled over the 50K miles on my 97 Disco the "check engine" light came on. Does anyone know what this is for?

was that the "Check Engine" (orange) or the "Service Engine" (red) light?

if it was the service one, check the tech section.

if its the check engine on a 97 your probably going to have to go to the dealer and have them read the code and tell you whats wrong.
