Ok,
I did a little shopping and I found the Miller 130 XP and a Hobart 135 as pretty good choices for my needs and what i want to spend. Any opinions. The sales guy said the Hobart was actually made by Miller and it was on sale for 400. You could weld with gas or flux core with either and they both come with the stuff for the CO2 shielding except no bottle. Any reason not to buy the Hobart or a reason to pay more for the Miller 130 XP. The Miller weighs more so maybe it is better made. I dunno, help me choose.
Thanks
Ron
Best price I have found is 400 for the Hobart and 550 for the Miller.

I have been using the same Hobart for about 12 years and not had any problems. I have a 250 amp industrial Hobart but I have used the smaller ones and they worked pretty good. You can increase the duty cycle on the small ones by drilling holes in the case and mounting fans.I used a little Snap on Mig like that for a few years....
