WHAT TO SAY....
Over the past couple years.I have had the pleasure to get to know alot of really good people in the LR community. Some throug hthis board, some through clubs,and some through email lists.

In contrast, I have met the worst of humanity in the LR community. Those who seek only to criticize and belittle others. THose with a good body of knowldge who wield it like a club over the heads of the less experienced. And those who have not sacrificed and worked to own the prize of the best vehicles on Earth.

Of all the owners of luxury marques that I have had the pleasure to be around,Land Rover owners are BY FAR the most pretentious,the most arrogant, and the most helpless. Those who come here to honestly give or seek advice are excepted. But unfortunately, a few misguided individuals of low moral charicter sully the board for others. I will not miss that. And much to the chagrin of those people,I will still be around,and I will still enjoy my time with good owners.

I will enjoy my time with the new group as well because there is not such pretense.No personalities theat feel they need to puff their chest out and say "I own a Land Rover and I am better than you" Simply stupid.

HE went on to say that he is getting rid of his Rover and going to buy a Unimog.
So I quess it is good bye.

Perrone has never given a single piece of useful information. Anything he ever said was just cut and pasted from something he read or heard from someplace else. He had no idea if it was correct or false. It sounded good to him and so he repeated it like a parrot.

So Perrone is gone? Good riddance. It's not like we're any worse off in his absence. In fact we're actually better off. There's less confusion and BS on the board now.

Not to defend Perrone, but that's not his(I guess I'm defending him)...he was poseing(sp) in front of it when the pic was taken...that was an event he attended....I think he explains it on his web site. www.spanishtrials.com, or something like that...
