Need to know what medication I can take to prevent the bug from taking over. Just bought a 98D1 a week ago yesterday. My wife loves it. BUT- I already want to rip off the running boards, throw on Bilsteins and MODIFY, MODIFY, MODIFY until it's unrecognizable from it's current state. I do no work- found bosses password so I'm back in this incredible site all day. I wish I were on a trail now. Gil, you were right! I AM ADDICTED!! Need a fix now!!! -SM

Hey Shooter! Join the club man! I'm afraid to tell you but there is no antidote for the rover bug. Danno is right! Order the Moab Video and salivate as you see those rovers do the trails in 4x4 haven!

P.S. Isn't taking off the running boards with the mud flaps on causes an extreme negative effect on your rover's performance? I don't know folks but I think we need to shed some light regarding the mud flap gods and their superpowers to our disco brother shooter here...

kidding aside, Good luck with your Disco! I'm in North NJ and we do some riding every once in awhile, I'll be sure to let you know about the next one! Later!!!

Shooter,

Best of wishes to you ... like these gentlemen have pointed out, there is no cure, period. Man, you caught it pretty quickly ... must be getting more virulent (spelling?). After each little modification, I find that I almost instantly obsess on a new one ... After each wheelin' venture, I find myself wanting to just turn the wheel wherever I'm at, and just drive up an embankment (this could be bad, especially if it's a grocery store or school yard!!) ... I've found that you just have to accept it, and try to live with it, and manage it as best you can ... :)

/Kim

Do you find yourself parking at a 45 degree angle on the side of some embankment when there are hundreds of free spaces in front of you?

Then when people ask "why did you park there?" you simply reply "because I could". ?

Me too!

A local shopping park had no empty spaces, and it was raining. I could see only one option - the delicately pruned grassy area in front of the shop we wanted...

"OI! YOU CAN'T PARK THERE!"

Dudes (&dudettes),

Is it possible to order the Rover video w/o going through pay pal? I hate to have yet another company know my info.
