My manual tranny would never hold up to all that abuse. Man o Man...all that crawling, I would need a 3rd foot, a couple extra clutch and press.plates and all the tools to replace it daily.

Looks like you all had a blast!!

I think it should be playing in all those VCRs at LR dealerships!!?? hint, hint, to those of you who know just what I'm talking about!!

It is also a pretty good educational tool!!

I have thought about loaning mine to the local dealer, but I am loathe to let it our of my control!

Not until they complete the warranty work on my truck anyway.

We have been showing it here at LRDE. no volume of course. Very well put together Axel. Only problem is: Brian's rental did way too good!

How do I order one from Canada. I tried to order on-line and the form only allows you to pick US states and zip-codes.

???

International paypal users need to set up an account before they can order. (This is Paypal's rules, not ours...)

Go to www.paypal.com, Select Sign Up, then International registration. Follow the instructions from there on how to set up your account. Once the account is set up, you will be able to use it to put in your order.

Yup , brand new. Those light little bastards kick ass. Just cant afford many mistakes as they are weak and unforgiving. You also only have room for a cooler and a spare 110 wheel and tire :)

Yeah- they are impressive-
However, I cannot brag about load capacity anymore. 20" off the rear end sure does kill your ability to 'bring half the house'. I'll take the departure angle any day,

Craig,

came by the other night. You must've been on an extra long break. :)

Too bad they got rid of that wall on the north parking lot. I think I saw you drag your big butt up that last year.

That damn thing actually doesnt look bad. The disco doesnt fare so well with that modification. Take out the rear seats and you still have a fare amount of room..

Craig, I see the stock end on the frame showing, was the frame sectioned after the rear axle hump?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By Craig on Saturday, October 20, 2001 - 01:59 pm: Edit

Not sure what color she'll be, I have some Westminster grey rattle can at home, and may just give it a quick spray. I'll make it pretty this winter.
John- exactly, we just moved the rear xmember forward.
still need to fab up the rear bumper and a few other little details.

Craig, if you want some info, I have been doing some RR'er bumpers starting where you are at on the frame(horns removed) by welding on a 1/2" x 2 mounting bar to the frame and using 2 1/2 x 2 1/2" sq tubing bolted to that with top dress plate and side/bottom protecters running to the wheel wells. Call me if you want thoughts/ideas to merge with yours.
