Does anyone know how much transmission fluid you must add when the fluid registers on the bottom mark of the dipstick and you want to fill it to the top mark? 96 disco.
Thanks in advance,
C.S.

Try a pint at a time. Look at both sides of the stick since fluid flow in the tranny will give you two diff readings. Parking brake on, engine cold, in neutral to check fluid.

On my '95 Disco (and I would imagine it's the same for a '96), it takes 1.5 quarts to raise the fluid level from the lower mark to the top mark.
