I want to run an ac heater (Lil' Buddy heater - 900 watts) this winter inside the truck, and have it tripped to go off on a digital timer (Noma) every morning before start-up. I'm hoping this will keep the ice off the windows and avoid having to run the engine to warm up the truck for 30 minutes every morning (I'm in Calgary, Alberta).
The timer and heater I bought have short power cords. They are both mounted on the inside of the cab. I have plugged them into a short extension cord that connects with the engine block heater as well.
Anyways:
Is there any danger running that ac extension cord to the passenger side of the firewall or should I have it all wired on the engine side? I can't think of any problems...
