My truck has a screaching sound like it has a bad pulley somewhere. I tried to isolate the noise by oiling each pulley-one at a time-but no luck. My ears tell me it is either the alternator or the a/c compressor. Truck is going in to L.R. for repair, but I'd like to get opinions before I bring it in. Any ideas? Truck has 42,000 miles.

D2's had a recall for both tensioner pulley and alternator pulley - so it is probably one or both. Will be warranty regardless!
