The Trek Disco at LR Rockville was priced at $75k! Makes this one look like a bargain!

A) It's SO naked!! It's SCREAMING for stickers!!

B) It's a Dagger canoe! I went by and they took me through the shop... I watched them making one of those, and a couple of kayaks... really neat. I still use our old Blue Hole (FYI: : Dagger was started by one of the guys who started Blue Hole, and is only 10 miles down the road from Blue Hole's old factory)....

I remember seeing a zebra striped Disco 2 in Land Rover of Newport Beach, California about a year ago. They were selling it for $50,000. It was "accesorized" with a front $G bumper(with a Warn winch,skidplate,3 lights). It also had a $G rear bumper and skidplate with Series lights mounted below the high rear lights. There was $G rock sliders on it too. It had a LR roof rack(with all this stuff up there)with 4 PIAA lights mounted on the top. It had some other stuff like BFG Mud-terrains. It might have had some sort of suspension lift too. But the ugliest thing on it, besides the zebra paint job, was the chrome wheels you'd see on Jeeps.

MA, I know the one you're talking about. Last I saw, (a few months back?) it was parked in a mall lot in front of Nordstrom (uh, I was uh, picking up a birthday gift, yeah, that's it ...). I'm swinging by LR Newport either Mon. Or Tues., I'll see if it's still there or not - (I also want to see if there is another monstrosity that we've been chuckling about this week there ... I'll let our buddy who tipped us off tell about it, heh heh. ....50K!!??!!

75k? The TReK discos list for 42K on the internal auction site. 75K is just plain ass raping.

chrisvonc,

Why do you think I went to another dealer for my buy? Those Rockville guys were lousy, and that's putting it mildly. Maybe Kyle has a better word for them....LOL!
