i noticed that www.4x4connection.com has arb bull bars with free shipping to a business. needless to say i'm probably going to purchase one for my '99 disco II. my question is "how will my factory suspension handle the additional weight?" any thoughts/comments?
thanks,
sean

The extra wieght will hurt it. Moreso if you are mounting a winch at the same time..

Sean,
It won't, you'll need to beef up the front end

Also Sean,
Check out some of the other bumpers, unless you weld the ARB to tyour truck, it will rotate...do a search, and you'll read all about it. Also, go to Klye's window and see what happens when they rotate...

Sean, I purchased my ARB from Bill over at 4x4connection.....(real good people). You will need to update your suspension, even more so if you get a winch......Yeah I believe shipping is free to a business, and thats because common carriers don't like entering into neighborhoods to make deliveries....just make sure you have someplace to store your bullbar while it awaits installation. I picked up my ARB in person from Bill and it was very interesting checking out his shop. If you decide to have it delivered to your businessm, make sure you have some room for it, and if you are going to put it your truck, make some room... I was able to fit it inside my Range Rover, with the seats folded....you should be able to fit it inside your disco...
