I have a 00 Disco II and I was wondering if it would be possible to add only the OME springs and not the shocks at this time. I know the OME shocks are longer, but I would think my biggest disadvantage would be that I would not have quite the wheel travel with the new springs and old shocks vs. the new springs and new shocks. Also, how many hours would I expect to be charged for to have the springs installed? springs and shocks installed?
Thanks in advance
Chris

(a) yes
(b) do it yourself, will take you ~3 hours the first time. i believe a shop shouldn't charge more
than 1 hour, but they will tell you otherwise

Chris - I installed OME Springs without replacing the shocks and it works fine! I have a 98 Disco 1.
I am not the most technically savy individual and I did the install in about 3 hours. Go by pep boys and rent a spring compressor (the kind that goes in the middle of the spring) for a few bucks, and the install is cake. You will also need 2 jacks, and jack stands.
