If I disconnect the battery off my 95 Disco will the check engine light come on? Or does it only apply to 96 and up Disco's with OBD II.
Thanks
Wee

Just make sure you get the radio code from the dealer by giving them your VIN number. Any one can give it to you. My light was already on when I disconnected it, but I was trying to get the light to turn off, so I don't know.

I have had the battery disconnected a dozen times in my 95, and have never had the Check Engine light come on as a result. I have an aftermarket stereo, so as far as the anti-theft, I am no help but you should have no problem with the Check engine light from my experience.
