arent they the same as the natos over here...
By Ron on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 - 01:07 pm: Edit |
It is all Alyssa's fault
CK, Disco IIs can't use NATOs/Wolfs as the bolt pattern is different. If you give me a shout (check your email) I can tell you your options.

CK, TireRack.com sells winter wheels for the DSII at $49.99 each. Supposedly mfgd by same company that supplies LR. Nice wheels, very thick center section. They're only 7" wide as oppossed to the alloys which are 8".

I thought the DII has a GM Pattern ? If thats the case then the possibilities are endless..

5 on 4.75 for GM if memory serves me right. A few mm off, but not enough to cause problems. Just becareful of back spacing.

CK,
Disco Series I, Classic Range Rovers, Defenders, Series Rovers use the same bolt pattern.
New Range Rovers, Disco Series II (and Freelander?) use their own bolt pattern....

CK,
judging by the amount of u.s. currency put in your project, you can call Stockton Wheel, and they will make you _any_ wheel you want, any design, any bolt pattern, any finish, any color.
Good quality, too.

Another wheel option for the non financially challenged is Matt Lee engineering in the UK

I'm really partial to their Mach 5 wheels...
By Ron on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 - 05:03 pm: Edit |
Yes!
And you can get them in yellow
And they run NBS RR axles on some of those things so they would have rims available for a DII
