My check engine light comes on periodically, mostly during damp, wet weather. Truck seems to be running fine. Is this a common problem with discos during this wet season? In dryer climate with cooler air the light does not come on.
Any help would be appreciated, thx all.

park your truck in the garage late at night while running and spray some water on the wires. see if you have a little light show with arcing and so on. not much water, but like a spray bottle or something like that. pretty cool looking. but means you need new wires. insulation is minimal.
and for more fun grab on to the wires!! just kidding......don't do that. ok.....just ask your neighbor to.

I had the light come on and stay on after a very vigorous automatic carwash. I kid you not, the hood was bending under the force!
I went to the dealer and they installed an extra piece of rubber that protected the computer from water, on the passenger side. '97 Disco.
