jmon-
What exactly was the "extra work"? What did you sign? Was the extra work necessary to make your vehicle safe again? unrelated?

he said it needed to be done to make it safe...but before we brought to him..it was braking fine...except for the abs light on and a squeeking coming out of the right rear wheel..
extra work done-
-rear brake pad set
-2 wheel bearing
-2 wheel seal
-oil seal
-axle stud
-lock washer
-joint washer
-hub assym
-dot 4
-brake clean
-rtv sealant
-wd40
-beaing seal
thats it..
all that was needed to correct the warrant work..was one rr rear bearing..and re adjust the brakes.......i authorized front rotors and pads...thats it..

Go to court then! I've been a party to a suit and although it was a different type of matter, as long as you have not signed anything, the burden of proof rests with the dealer to prove you gave authorization for the work. Assuming you did not,and unless the dealer has fabricated some sort of document, you should be ok. Go to the proceeding and see what proof the dealer has- they are obligated to do so. Then, if it looks like you may lose or need leagal advice, get a lwayer and counter-sue for legal fees if you win. Then spread the word to everyone you know that you were almost ripped off. 1 unhappy customer tells 10 people. 1 happy customer tells 1 person. I am not lawyer but I play one on TV.
