I am looking at getting some steelies for my disco. What is the usual backspacing for these wheels. I would like to have my wheels stick out a little more, but I also want them to tuck in. Any advice??

Backspacing for the stock alloys on a North American spec Disco is about 5.25 inches. I have the American Racing Wheels steel rims from Gulf Coast Rovers and they have about 4.25 inches of backspacing. I have the 245/75/R16 Goodyear MTRs on the AR 16 steel wheels. This is probably the least amount of backspacking that I can get away with on those tires.

Thanks,
Mike B.
