I've got a (USA) 95 Disco that seems to be leaking oil from the PCV filter (seems I need a new one??) and I can't seem to find a source for a new one. AB shows a kit but nothing in the picture resembles the doohickey on my engine. Also...how do you get the damn thing out? Thanx

Never found one there, or NAPA, or Advance...

My experience with those old kind of breathers is to soak it in gas or paint thinner (or other solvent/engine cleaner, if you prefer) to remove the oil gunked up inside. There's no real need to replace it, unless you don't want to clean it or it doesn't come clean. The band clamp on the hose connected to the top of your breather may be loose, but normally you shouldn't be getting any leakage. To remove the breather, disconnect the top hose from it, grab it like a beer can and unscrew it from the valve cover. Clean and replace.

Also, check the inside of the hose. A leaky breather usually indicates stopped-up hoses somewhere. If you find anything, clean it out with carb cleaner or something and you should be fine.
